A new collaborative, cloud-based platform created by Transoft Solutions has the potential to transform the way airports around the world use and share airside operations information. AeroCENTRAL, along with the applications that run on the platform, combines an airport’s infrastructural information, such as its design and technical documents, with operational data in a centralized user-friendly interface.

Airports Council International (ACI) estimated that China would contribute about 21% of global passenger traffic growth in the next two decades and overtake USA as the largest aviation market in the world before 2035. Airports Council International published the Global Outlook of Airport Capital Expenditure that anticipates the capital investments will be needed to address the long-term trend in passenger demand, and to achieve the long-term carbon emissions target of net zero by 2050. The publication was done in collaboration with Oxford Economics, with the financial support of Hamad International Airport, Qatar.

Standing up to challenges of pandemic, Shanghai Pudong International Airport has been gradually returning to its usual busy cargo operation.
