KIX’s First Arrival Duty-free Shops Open

Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that duty-free shops will open in the international arrival areas of Terminals 1 and 2 at Kansai International Airport (KIX) in spring 2018.

These will be the first duty-free shops located in the international arrival areas at KIX. After the opening, arriving passengers can buy goods exempt from duties and taxes.

The introduction of arrival duty-free shops will surely make passengers’ airport experiences more pleasant. Japanese travelers will no longer need to carry duty-free items abroad, and foreign travelers will be provided more shopping opportunities.

Kansai Airports will continue making the shopping areas more exciting and attractive to provide a comfortable and pleasant travel experience for our customers.
