There has been cautious sense of optimism for the aviation sector following the relaxation of travel restrictions and successful vaccination programmes in many parts of Asia-Pacific and the Middle East, according to the Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific’s Industry Outlook.
Kansai Airports Group announced that it will host the 18th ACI Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly, Conference & Exhibition* in Kobe, Hyogo Prefecture in 2023.
The 17th Airport Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific Regional Assembly Meeting 2022, held in Singapore on 18th May 2022, is the first in-person Regional Assembly Meeting held since the outbreak of COVID-19. As the epidemic development and immigration policies vary between different countries, the virtual meeting was held at the same time, for airport members and airline representatives from all over the world to attend.
Airports Council International Asia-Pacific (ACI) has appointed Managing Director of Malaysia Airports, Dato’ Iskandar Mizal Mahmood as Regional Board Director at the 17th ACI Regional Assembly Board Meeting. Dato’ Iskandar joins three other newly appointed Regional Board Directors for a three-year term commencing June 2022.

Perth Airport’s efforts to keep WA’s crucial FIFO workforce flying during a global pandemic have seen it become the first Australian airport to be receive a new global Covid-safe airport rating.
