As Airports Innovate commenced in Busan today, Mr. Stefano Baronci, Director General of ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, the association representing over 600 airports, delivered a strong State of the Industry address, calling for industry-wide innovation and policy reforms to future-proof airport operations.
The 35th ACI APAC & MID Regional Aviation Security Committee (RASC) meeting, hosted by Changi Airport Group from 28-30 October in Singapore, saw a record participation of 69 security experts from airports and World Business Partners (WBPs) in the region.

The Members of the Conference endorsed the ACI APAC & MID’s recommendations and encouraged States to take appropriate steps for implementation.
