ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East today honored three airports for their outstanding commitment to aerodrome safety with the presentation of its inaugural Safety Recognition Awards 2025.
Airports in Asia-Pacific and the Middle East regions are setting new benchmarks in passenger experience. 35 airports out of a total 95 airports globally were recognised in the prestigious 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards by Airports Council International (ACI). Collectively, airports in the region won 68 awards, across categories.
Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), an association representing 624 airports, delivered two important presentations at the ICAO Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Middle East region in Riyadh, highlighting the critical need for enhancing air connectivity and seamlessly integrating Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) into the current air transportation framework.
A total of 31 airports – 27 airports from Asia-Pacific and 4 from the Middle East- have been recognised with Airports Council International’s (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, which are based on most reliable global measurement and benchmarking programme for airport customer experience
ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, the trade group for airports, announced the findings of the market research on airport concession business models and non-aeronautical revenues on the occasion of the 20th anniversary celebration of The Trinity Forum, the world's leading conference on airport commercial revenues. ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East is one of the co-organisers of the event, along with The Moodie Davitt Report and ACI World.
