Airports Council International Asia-Pacific and Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), the trade group representing over 600 airports across 45 countries and territories, welcomed the decision of Gulf Cooperation Council to establish the Gulf Civil Aviation Authority, describing the initiative as historic milestone for aviation in the region that will strengthen regional integration, enhance global competitiveness, and lay the institutional foundations for a new era of coordinated aviation development across the Gulf countries.

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that the number of international scheduled flights in the 2025 winter schedule is expected to be 1,737.5 per week *1, a record number of flights throughout the summer and winter schedule (as of the peak of December), owing to further increase of the flights, mainly to South Korea and Southeast Asia, compared to the last summer schedule.
