Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), an association representing 624 airports, delivered two important presentations at the ICAO Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Middle East region in Riyadh, highlighting the critical need for enhancing air connectivity and seamlessly integrating Advanced Air Mobility (AAM) into the current air transportation framework.
The overall international passenger traffic was 90% compared to the same month in 2019, as the number of non-Japanese passengers exceeded the pre-COVID level for the fourth consecutive month, at 106% vs. 2019.

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today released the air traffic figures for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for April 2024. During the month, HKIA handled 4.23 million passengers and 29,055 flight movements, marking year-on-year increases of 35.9% and 34.7%, respectively.
The number of non-Japanese traffic for international flights was 1.59 million, which hit a record high*, and the total number of international passengers was 87% vs April 2019.

irport International Group announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 669,158 passengers (PAX) in April 2024, indicating a 6.2% decline against 2023 figures. During the same month, QAIA recorded 5,783 aircraft movements (ACM) and handled 6,504 tons of cargo, registering a 6.3% decrease and a notable 27.5% increase, respectively, compared to the same period last year.
Airports of Thailand (AOT) reported its strong financial results for the first half of fiscal year 2024, with 367,032 flights, 61.22 million passengers, and a net profit of 10,347.62 billion baht. This represents a significant increase of 16.86% in flights and 23.78% in passengers compared to the same period last year.
