11.5% More Daily Scheduled Flights in Shanghai

The 2024 summer season starts from March 31, 2024. In the new season, the daily scheduled flights will increase 11.5% to 2,481 flights at two airports in Shanghai with 1,699 flights at Pudong International Airport and 782 flights at Hongqiao International Airport.

 

While the international market is accelerating to recover, two airports in Shanghai in this new season schedules to connect 91 international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan passenger destinations, 3 more than last winter season. There will be 32 intercontinental destinations of scheduled passenger flights, 26 of which have one and more flights per day including Los Angeles, Dallas, Seattle and San Francisco in the US, Frankfurt in Germany, Paris in France, London in UK, Rome and Milan in Italy, Moscow in Russia, Sydney and Melbourne in Australia, Auckland in New Zealand, and Addis Ababa in Ethiopia.

 

In the new season, Pudong International Airport schedules to connect 154 domestic destinations and 90 international, Hong Kong, Macao and Taiwan destinations, resuming its connections to St. Petersburg and Novosibirsk and adding new destinations of Athens and Riyadh. From March 31, 2024, the flights connecting PVG with LAX, SFO, and DTW in the US will be further increased in accordance with the updated air services policy of the two countries.

 

Hongqiao International Airport schedules to connect 75 domestic destinations while remain its connections with HKA, MFM, TSA, HND, and GMP in the coming summer season.
