More than 3 million pass through BNE in December & January
It is the Chinese New Year Holiday from January 21 to 27, 2023. In these seven days, both Shanghai Pudong International Airport and Hongqiao International Airport accommodated 10,681 flights, increased 17.3% compared to the same period of 2022 and recovering to 70% of the movements in the same period of 2019. Passenger volume of the two airports reached 1.35 million persons, up 74.5% year on year and returning to 60% of that in the same period of 2019.
The 34th Airports Council International (ACI) Asia-Pacific Regional Board Meeting was held in Muscat on 6th December 2022. As the epidemic development and immigration policies vary between different countries, both in-person and virtual meeting was held at the same time. Aviation business leaders from across the Asia-Pacific and Middle East region attended the meeting to provide strategic direction for ACI Asia-Pacific in its advocacy efforts, programmes and activities within the region.
