Vietjet flight VJ83 was 100% full when it took off from Ho Chi Minh City with 377 passengers on board, eager for a taste of Queensland. The new service will offer 39,000 seats to Brisbane each year. Additional tourists will support up to 370 Queensland jobs and boost Overnight Visitor Expenditure by almost $30 million per year right across the State.
Kansai Airports is delighted to announce the opening of a new Family Mart store in the south wing, international departure area of Kansai International Airport Terminal 1 on June 21, 2023. The store will offer a wide variety of products to meet the needs of passengers, including Famichiki (Family Mart fried chicken), which is popular with a wide range of customers from children to adults, FAMIMA CAFÉ, where customers can enjoy freshly ground and brewed coffee made from carefully selected and roasted beans, rice balls, and daily sundries.
Kansai Airports (Yoshiyuki Yamaya, Representative Director and CEO), scheme verge, Inc. (Tatsuki Yamanami, Representative Director and CEO), and the Kansai Innovation Center (Minoru Sotome, Chairman of Board of Directors) will start a demonstration experiment of digital coupon tickets using an app which will be the first attempt at Kansai International Airport. During the period from June 19 to October 1, 2023 (please kindly be noted that it will be ended when the number of coupons used reaches the planned number even within the period), scheme verge will distribute 200 yen discount coupons that can be used at restaurants in the domestic departure area of Kansai International Airport on the tourism navigation app “Horai” provided by scheme verge. This initiative will be implemented through the Problem-solving Program of MUIC Kansai, an innovation creation center operated by Kansai Innovation Center.
