Airports across Asia-Pacific and the Middle East are preparing for nearly 7% annual air travel growth over the next 25 years. To support sustainable development, the 2nd ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East Regional Assembly in New Delhi adopted a resolution promoting the optimisation of current capacity and the expansion of new infrastructure.
The Airports Council International's Airport Excellence Programme (APEX) environmental review was successfully carried out at King Abdulaziz International Airport, from 16-20 February 2025, hosted by Jeddah Airports Company.
In an effort to recognise airport operators' efforts in promoting effective safety culture and safety management through innovative, cost-effective solutions, ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East has launched Safety Recognition Award 2025.
