Sharjah Airport Authority celebrated Emirati Children’s Day. As part of the ‘Make an Emirati Child’s Wish Come True’ initiative, a group of children had the opportunity to perform job tasks at the airport, review work procedures and interact with customers and passengers, which aims to make their wishes come true and to review the jobs that they are look forward to perform in the future.

Gold Coast Airport has been recognised for its commitment to sustainability, achieving Level 2 accreditation under the Airports Council International’s Airport Carbon Accreditation program.The Airport Carbon Accreditation program is the only independent global standard for carbon management at airports, which recognises and accredits the efforts of airports to manage and reduce emissions.
ACI Asia-Pacific is pleased to announce the results of the region’s Green Airports Recognition 2019 which recognizes airports’ outstanding achievements in their environmental projects.
Following last month’s COP24 UNFCCC Climate Change Conference in Katowice, Poland, ACI today provided an update on the latest developments among the community of 259 airports currently in the global carbon management standard, Airport Carbon Accreditation.
Having been the first airports (Kansai International Airport, Osaka International Airport) in Japan accredited at Level 2 under the Airport Carbon Accreditation1 program in 2016, Kansai Airports Group is pleased to announce that KIX and ITAMI have upgraded to Level 3 certification of the ACA, while Kobe Airport has newly entered the program at Level 2 on December 6, 2018.
