Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) has reiterated its call for economic sustainability and financial resilience as critical components for infrastructure development to support the expected growth in the region’s air transport sector.

GMR led Hyderabad International Airport has emerged as the winner of the coveted ACI Airport Service Quality Departures Awards by being adjudged as the ‘Best Airport by Size and Region’ and its first ever ‘Best Airport in Environment & Ambience by Size’, both in Asia-Pacific region for 2019, in its category of 15-25 Million Passengers Per Annum (MPPA).
Passengers have again rated Newcastle Airport as one of the country’s best, with the 2019 international Airport Service Quality survey results giving the airport a very healthy endorsement.
