Emergency Drill to be Held at KIX Aircraft Fueling Facilities

Kansai Airports will carry out an emergency exercise at the Fueling Center in Kansai International Airport (KIX) on June 24 simulating that a massive earthquake has affected the airport’s aircraft fueling facilities.

 

The drill is held annually to achieve quick and appropriate response in the wake of an earthquake, foster coordination with relevant organizations, enhance the response structure and raise awareness of disaster prevention. Kansai Airports will continue to strive to maintain the safety of travel and create a safe traveling environment for airport users.

 

Date: Friday, June 24, 2022 from 2:00 pm to 3:00 pm (June 28 in the case of heavy rain)
Location: KIX Fueling Center (aircraft fueling facility)
