ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East calls on Australian Government to reinvest aviation tax revenue to strengthen affordability and competitiveness

ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East has called on the Australian Government to reinvest revenue from the increased Passenger Movement Charge into aviation infrastructure, digital border technologies, and passenger experience improvements. The association highlighted the broader economic importance of affordable air travel and warned that higher aviation taxes could impact tourism, connectivity, and competitiveness.
