“The NEW NARITA AIRPORT Project” Commencement of Master Plan for the new cargo area - Launch of the Proposal-based selection process

As part of “The NEW NARITA AIRPORT Project”, NARITA INTERNATIONAL AIRPORT CORPORATION will further enhance the sophistication of air cargo functions outlined in the  New Narita Airport Development Plan. Narita Airport will formulate a master plan including the basic facilities layout and configuration for the new cargo area. This plan will serve as a framework to further develop “Summary 2.0” and prepare for design commissioning, while ensuring stakeholder engagement.

On December 19, 2025, Narita Airport launched the public call for the “New Narita Airport Development Plan: Master Planning for the New Cargo Area”. This will be conducted as a proposal-basedselection process and after reviewing each proposal carefully, an intended contractor will be selected around the end of March 2026.
