KIX opens women-only break room in ramp area

  • 2025-12-23

Kansai Airports is pleased to announce the opening of a dedicated break room for female employees in the ramp area (restricted area) of Kansai International Airport (KIX).

This initiative marks the first of its kind within the ramp area of KIX. In response to the increasing number of female employees working in the ramp area in recent years, the new facility aims to offer a comfortable environment where women can take breaks with peace of mind. Furthermore, by improving working conditions, the initiative is expected to support recruitment efforts of airport-based businesses.

Looking ahead to the further growth in aviation traffic, Kansai Airports Group will continue to strengthen collaboration with operators and partner businesses, respond flexibly to changing circumstances, and actively advance both recruitment and talent development.
