CAM Representatives participated in MGTO’s product updates Seminar & Travel Mart in Kuala Lumpur

Representatives from Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) participated in the “Tourism + MICE” Product Promotion and Business Meeting hosted by the Macao Government Tourism Office (MGTO) in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia on 4th June 2026. The event aimed to deepen ties between the tourism sectors of Macau and Malaysia, to actively attract more Malaysian travellers to visit Macau.

 

Brought together over 200 industry professionals from both regions, the event showcased the diverse offerings of Macau’s “Tourism +” initiatives to local stakeholders, with a focus on expanding international visitor markets. During the event, CAM actively engaged in discussions with major Malaysian tourism stakeholders and airlines to explore opportunities for cooperation and development, engaging in in-depth discussions regarding collaboration within the Malaysian source market.

 

Macau International Airport (MIA) continues its dedicated efforts to expand the Malaysian market.

 

According to Macau’s inbound visitor statistics up to April 2026, Malaysia ranked as the 4th largest source market among international markets. The attractions drawing Malaysian visitors include Macau’s rich cultural heritage, culinary experiences, integrated resort entertainment, safety and convenient travel environment. Currently, AirAsia provides direct flight services connecting Macau and Kuala Lumpur. 

 

Moving forward, Macau International Airport (MIA) will continue to collaborate with MGTO to jointly drive the expansion of international source markets and develop more diversified flight destinations in Malaysia.
