Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) today announced its highly anticipated Air Connectivity Ranking 2024, revealing a remarkable 14% year-on-year increase in both Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions, driven by strong international demand, robust network recovery, and the return of major travel corridors.
Starting from 22nd September 2022, a display screen will be installed at the Arrival Hall of Macau International Airport to display the departure flights information from Zhuhai Airport and the ferry schedule from Pac On Ferry Terminal to Mainland China, the arrangement enhance the cooperation between Zhuhai and Macau Airports in information exchange, and provide convenience for passengers to obtain relevant flight information.
Airport Authority Hong Kong welcomes the Government’s adjustment of quarantine arrangement for inbound passengers. AAHK looks forward to the continuous recovery of air traffic. We are working closely with the airport community to prepare for the expected increase of flights and passengers.

Several senior officials and representatives from Sharjah Airport Authority celebrated the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s 92nd National Day. The occasion was commemorated in recognition of the cordial ties and shared historical connections between the two countries.
Due to the ongoing Phase 3A expansion work at Terminal 1, there is change in traffic movement for the vehicles leaving the T1 Departure Ramp from midnight of Monday (September 26, 2022). Any vehicle coming to T1 Departures will have to make a U-turn at the end of the Departure forecourt ramp and exit the terminal through the newly widened up-ramp to take Mehram Nagar Road for their airport exit.

On 9 October when the new METRONET Airport Line opens, the station’s link to the terminals will be via a new pedestrian ‘sky’ bridge which features a unique soundscape as well as indigenous art installations.

Airport International Group held its Environment, Social, Health and Safety (ESHS) Committee meeting on 21 September 2022 - under the patronage of Secretary General of the Ministry of Transport, H.E. Eng. Wesam Tahtamouni - and in the presence of Madaba Mayor, Aref Rawajeeh, and representatives from the Civil Aviation Regulatory Commission (CARC), Civil Defense Directorate and companies working at Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA). Chaired by Airport International Group CEO, Nicolas Claude, the meeting addressed several relevant topics, with particular emphasis on QAIA’s carbon management and accreditation.
