Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), the trade association representing over 600 airports, made strong recommendations at the 60th ICAO Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Asia and Pacific regions in Sendai, Japan recently. The Members of the Conference endorsed the ACI APAC & MID’s recommendations and encouraged States to take appropriate steps for implementation.

Perth Airport has recorded its highest ever annual passenger numbers with 17.48 million passengers travelling through its terminals in FY25 – representing an 8.5 per cent increase on last year’s 16.1million . The number includes 5.14 million international passengers which is a significant 18.3 per cent on last year where we saw 4.35 million international passengers travel through the terminals.
The event specially invited representatives from major airlines operating in Southeast and Northeast Asia routes in MIA to jointly promote the flight services, aiming to introduce route offerings to Greater Bay Area residents.
