New Restaurants Selected for 2F of KIX T1 Landside to Be a More Fun Place to Spend Time

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that new restaurants have been selected to be opened in Tasty Street on the second floor of Kansai International Airport (KIX) Terminal 1, which is currently under renovation.

 

The food court opened in advance on Saturday, October 1, 2022. In addition to cafes and confectionary stores, Chinese, Italian, and Japanese restaurants, as well as 24-hour restaurants, will be newly opened. With the opening of these new restaurants, we will be able to accommodate a wider variety of customers, including those who are flying, seeing off or picking up passengers, and staying late at night. The opening dates of the new stores will be announced as soon as they are determined.

 

Kansai Airports Group will continue to work with all stakeholders to enhance the functions of KIX, the gateway to the Kansai region that welcomes domestic and international passengers and will proceed with renovation work with safety and security as our top priority.

  • Starbucks (Coffee shop)
  • COLOSSEO (Italian restaurant)
  • SOJIBO Shinshu Soba (Japanese buckwheat noodle)

Shops scheduled to open around October 2023

  • 551 HORAI (Steamed bun and Chinese cuisine)
  • Tonkatsu Wakou KEI-TEI (Tentative) (pork cutlet)
  • SUKIKYA (open 24/7) (Beef bowl)

Shops scheduled to open around December 2023

  • GENKI SYOTEN (Beef restaurant)
  • SUSHI NISHIYA (Sushi)

Shops scheduled to open around January 2024

  • LE PAN KOBE KITANO (Coffee lounge)
