Macau International Airport joins Hands with Macao Orchestra again to present two flash mob concerts during National Day Golden Week

Macau International Airport (MIA) first supported the Macao Orchestra's "Music in the Community" programme in July 2026, and the event was well received by travellers. As the National Day Golden Week approaches, the airport has once again partnered with the Macao Orchestra to transform the departure hall into a musical space, with two "Flash Mob Concerts" to be held at 5pm on 6th and 7th October 2026, allowing travellers and local citizens to enjoy a relaxing and elegant moment while waiting for their flights, at the same time experiencing the festive atmosphere of the National Day celebrations.

Presented by ensembles of the Macao Orchestra, the performance features a lighthearted and festive repertoire curated to delight both local and international travellers. As captivating classical melodies echo through the airport, passing travellers are drawn to stop and immerse themselves in the enchanting fusion of music and holiday cheer.

MIA dedicates to bringing art and culture into public spaces. Through these performances by local arts groups, the airport aims to showcase Macau's rich cultural heritage and creative vitality to travellers from around the world to enrich their travel experience.
