HKIAA re-Elected to ICAO TRAINAR PLUS Steering Committee

Hong Kong International Aviation Academy (HKIAA), represented by President Simon Li, has been re-elected to the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) TRAINAIR PLUS (TPP) Steering Committee (TPSC) for another three-year term from 2027 to 2029.

HKIAA is among 21 globally elected members. The ICAO TPSC is comprised of representatives from other international aviation organisations and training academies from Africa, Asia, Europe, Middle East, North America and Latin America.

HKIAA has contributed to ICAO’s global training portfolio with Standard Training Packages and Member ICAO Training Package. HKIAA has also proactively engaged with fellow TPP members in the Chinese Mainland, with a view to represent them on the global platform. 

This re-election to the ICAO TSPC reflects the international aviation training community’s confidence in HKIAA’s capacity building capabilities and commitment to the ongoing development of the aviation industry while nurturing young talent through its internationally recognised and accredited training programmes.
