- 2026-06-11
With football fever heating up across the globe for the year’s most anticipated tournament, Changi Airport Group (CAG) is bringing the game right to the heart of the airport with a new film, free match screenings, and airport-wide activities.

Visitors can catch live match screenings on the ultra-high-definition LED screen at ST3Ps (Terminal 3 Basement 2)

TV Lounges across the transit areas of all terminals at Changi Airport will provide match screenings
Featuring a line-up of Singapore’s national football players and a special cameo by local football legend Fandi Ahmad, the film is a celebration of community, national pride and the unifying power of sport. The video, Where The World Comes To Play, is published across Changi Airport’s social media channels, including YouTube here.
Familiar faces across iconic Changi Airport attractions
A young boy’s ordinary wait at Changi Airport turns extraordinary when a starstruck encounter with Hariss Harun, the captain of the Singapore national football team, kicks off an exhilarating football relay.
The action-packed film follows the ball as it is passed across iconic attractions in Changi Airport and Jewel, including the Jewel Rain Vortex, The Wonderfall, and Dreamscape. The video also features national team coach Gavin Lee, national football players Hariss Harun, Jacob Mahler, Shawal Anuar, Kyoga Nakamura, and Tyan Foong. Please refer to Annex A for a closer look at the cast.
“Football is a universal language that brings people together, much like how Changi Airport and Jewel connect travellers from across the globe. This film is our celebration of the Singapore national team and the players who dedicate themselves to the sport. Their passion and talent deserve to be seen by the world, and we are proud to tell their story in a setting that is uniquely Changi,” said Mr Kelvin Ng, CAG’s Vice President, Corporate & Marketing Communications.
Mr Naufal Gani, Head of Marketing, Football Association of Singapore added: “We are excited to partner Changi Airport Group to celebrate the passion of Singapore football. Seeing our football talents work their magic through Changi Airport and Jewel is a proud moment for all of us, reflecting the energy and spirit of our football community.”
Mr Gavin Lee, Head Coach of the Singapore Men’s National Team shared: “Instead of our routine passing through Changi Airport to travel overseas for training and matches, having a kickabout right at the heart of the terminals and Jewel was a refreshing experience for the team. The players had a brilliant time showing off their skills off the pitch, and it is a fantastic way to share our love for the game. With the Lions gearing up for the ASEAN Championship Hyundai Cup and Asian Cup, moments like these help us build stronger connections with our supporters ahead of the tournaments.”
Free football screenings and festivities across all Changi Airport terminals
Visitors and passengers can immerse themselves in the football action with free match screenings at ST3PS in Terminal 3 Basement 2 (public area) and TV lounges in the transit areas across Terminals 1 to 4. From 12 June to 20 July 2026, fans are invited to gather, watch the games live, and cheer for their favourite teams.
The football fever extends beyond the screens, with activities scheduled across the airport. Visitors can embark on a Football Champions Trail at Terminal 3’s public areas to unlock rewards worth more than S$50 in total. By taking part in engaging quizzes and challenges, participants will enjoy exclusive shopping and dining deals (minimum spend applies) along the way, culminating in a complimentary ticket to the Bouncing Net at Jewel Canopy Park upon completing the trail. Please refer to Annex B for more details on the Football Champions Trail.
To complement the electric match-day atmosphere, Changi Airport offers late-night and 24-hour dining options to keep fans fuelled through every kick-off. Throughout the season, visitors can also enjoy exclusive shopping and dining deals curated for football fans.
Passengers in the transit areas can put their balance, strength, and reflexes to the test in an array of action-packed, football-themed activities for a chance to win prizes, including a top prize of 200,000 Changi Rewards points worth S$1,000.
“As we welcome international travellers and football fans from around the world during the 2026 football season, we have prepared free match screenings and activities to bring the excitement of the game to everyone. We invite both Singapore residents and travellers to join us in the global football celebrations and experience firsthand why Changi Airport is where the world comes to play,” added Mr Kelvin Ng.
