Airport community fully supports the Legislative Council General Election various arrangements facilitate staff voting
- 2025-12-08
The Legislative Council General Election takes place today, with a near boundary polling station set up at Hong Kong International Airport to facilitate voting by pre-registered departing and arriving voters and on-duty staff.

Fred Lam, Chairman of Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK); Victor Liu, Director-General of Civil Aviation; and Vivian Cheung, CEO of AAHK, together with airport business partners, visited the Coach Hall of Terminal 2, where the near boundary polling station is set, to encourage and support airport colleagues to vote.
To encourage airport staff to fulfil their civic responsibility, AAHK has introduced a series of facilitation arrangements, including allowing on-duty staff to get to their posts later or leave earlier for voting. Additionally, shuttle buses are available to transport airport staff from various airport locations to the polling stations.
A pickleball event was also organised by the Airport Staff Club at the Airport Community Building on the same day, with the aim of promoting healthy lifestyles and strengthening the sense of community among airport staff.
