The Year in Review publication is a timely opportunity to look back on the annual accomplishments of ACI Asia-Pacific.

The purpose of these guidelines is not to substitute the library of existing literature on the subject but rather to give advice airports who wish to have a “quick start guide” before delving into to other more detailed materials.

This document is aimed at providing policy makers and airport operators an assessment of the general impact on airport operations caused by the significant traffic drops due to the COVID-19 outbreak, so that they may use it as a reference in the formulation of policy to help the industry recover and the establishment of plans to resume operations as soon as the pandemic subsides.

The first edition of this booklet covers four job functions: airside driving, FOD control, runway surface condition assessment and reporting, and inspection of movement area. The other five functions, planned to be included in the next edition, are: aerodrome movement area maintenance, work in progress, wildlife hazard management, apron safety, and runway safety.
