Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a formal framework for collaboration between the region’s airport and air traffic management (ATM) communities.

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce that the number of international scheduled flights per week for summer 2023 is expected to be 869*1 excluding international passengers flights to China (55% of 2019*2, during September peak), supported by a full-scale international passenger traffic recovery from the COVID-19 crisis in East Asia and Southeast Asia and a continued strong international cargo traffic. The number of international cargo flights will be 211 per week, the second highest on record for the summer schedule.
