Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), the trade association representing over 600 airports, made strong recommendations at the 60th ICAO Conference of Directors General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) for Asia and Pacific regions in Sendai, Japan recently. The Members of the Conference endorsed the ACI APAC & MID’s recommendations and encouraged States to take appropriate steps for implementation.
JINAIR (IATA code: LJ) will launch a scheduled passenger service between Narita and Busan on Sunday, October 29, 2023. JINAIR is an LCC based in Seoul, South Korea. Together with its Seoul route, this becomes their second route from Narita.
Jetstar Airways (IATA code: JQ) will launch a new service between Narita and Brisbane from Sunday, 29 October 2023.
Low-cost carrier IndiGo is augmenting its flight schedule from Mangaluru International Airport to Hyderabad starting October 19. The airline will operate a third daily flight with an ATR aircraft, to Hyderabad in the form of flight 6E7536. The flight will arrive at Mangaluru at 2.15pm and depart for Hyderabad at 2.35pm.

Sunshine Coast Airport and Bonza have celebrated another milestone today with the announcement of a new direct service between the Sunshine Coast and Darwin. The new service is set to take off from 29 November with flights now on sale, starting from just $149 (one-way).
Hot on the heels of announcing it will fly to Brisbane 4 times per week from 17 November, enthusiastic demand has led to China Southern boosting the service to daily across China’s peak travel season from 8 December to 25 February.
China’s second largest airline will commence with three flights per week, rising to daily seasonal flights from 8 December 2023 for the peak of the travel season.
