TransNusa introduces more direct services to Bali
- 2025-01-28
Perth Airport has welcomed the announcement that TransNusa will increase its frequency from 17 to 21 flights per week between Perth and Bali, from July.
This announcement comes as the airline celebrates its first anniversary, selecting Perth as its first destination in Australia.
Perth Airport’s Chief Commercial and Aviation Officer Kate Holsgrove said we welcomed TransNusa just over a year ago and the airline has gone from strength to strength.
“This increased frequency shows the airline’s commitment to the Western Australian market, and we look forward to working with the team at TransNusa as they grow their operations in Perth.
“More international services provide more options for Western Australians who love to travel.
“And with a flight time of just over 3 ½ hours, it is easy to see why we visit this fantastic holiday spot, and West Australians return to Bali on a regular basis.
“Currently we have 42,000 Indonesian visitors come to Western Australia each year injecting $119 million into the economy.
“With more direct flights, there is opportunity to welcome more visitors from Indonesia, one of our closest neighbours, to visit family and friends, explore tourism in WA, develop business and trade or undertake a world-class education here in Perth.”
