Sharjah Civil Aviation Department and Sharjah Airport Authority mark UAE’s 54th Union Day with pride and honour

The Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation and the Sharjah Airport Authority marked the UAE’s 54th Union Day with a celebration at the airport’s administration building, reflecting their deep pride in the nation’s glorious journey of Union. The festive programme featured a variety of cultural and heritage activities, including performances showcasing Emirati traditions. The celebration also included competitions and activities, creating a warm and joyful atmosphere that highlighted the spirit of the Union.

 

The event was attended by H.E. Sheikh Khalid bin Issam Al Qasimi, Chairman of the Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation; H.E. Ali Salim Al Midfa, Chairman of Sharjah Airport Authority; H.E. Sheikh Faisal bin Saud Al Qasimi, Director of Sharjah Airport Authority; and H.E. Sheikh Sultan bin Abdullah Al Thani, Director of the Sharjah Department of Civil Aviation, along with employees from both entities and representatives of companies operating at Sharjah Airport.

 

The celebration highlighted employees’ participation in this cherished national occasion and reinforced their connection to the UAE’s history and the values established by the Founding Fathers, values that continue to underpin the nation’s journey of growth and prosperity.
