Representative from MIA attended ACI’s Airport Customer Experience Summit 2025 and was awarded for its upgrade in the Level 3 accreditation

Macau International Airport (MIA) was formally presented with its certificate for Level 3 Accreditation of Airport Customer Experience programme of Airports Council International (ACI) at the ceremony held during ACI’s Airport Customer Experience Summit 2025 in Guangzhou on 10th September 2025. This esteemed accolade recognize the outstanding performance of Macau International Airport in the 2024 Airport Service Quality (ASQ) survey and the accreditation programme. 

 

Representative of Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM), Mr. Gary Geng, Director of Airport Operations Department (AOD) received the prestigious accolade, marks a significant milestone for MIA. Achieving Level 3 Accreditation in September 2024, with validity for one year. This recognition not only affirms the achievement of MIA from the industry, but also highlights its sustained commitment to passenger-centric excellence.

 

Since joining the ACI’s Accreditation programme, MIA has leveraged its framework as a vital strategic tool. It has provided a clear roadmap to deeply understand passenger needs and identify improvement opportunities across the passenger journey. Through the coherent efforts and collaborative spirit of the entire airport community, MIA has effectively implemented targeted enhancements, resulting in a marked emergence of passenger satisfaction.

 

This recognition is a testament to the joint effort and close collaboration of all airport stakeholders and every employee of the airport.  Their continuous innovation, hard work, and dedication remain the fundamental pillars of MIA’s success in future.
