To celebrate the 30th anniversary of Macau International Airport (MIA), Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) held its third “Soaring for 30 Years – Macau International Airport Route Promotion Event” of the year at One Avenue of Shenzhen on 29th November 2025.

 

The event aimed to promote route offerings of Macau International Airport (MIA) to Greater Bay Area residents and share the joy and achievements of the airport’s three-decade development journey.

 

The event invited airlines which operating international routes in MIA and renowned travel platform to jointly promote popular tourist routes to Southeast and Northeast Asia, encouraging more travellers from the Greater Bay Area to choose MIA for their journeys.

 

The event kicked off with an exciting aviation-themed dance performance, creating a vibrant atmosphere. Attendees enthusiastically participated in interactive games and booth activities. Over 300 exclusive anniversary commemorative items, aviation-themed gifts and multiple round-trip tickets originating from Macau were given away, attracting a large crowd of local residents. Videos from various airlines were also displayed, showcasing the diversity of the route network and unique travel appeal of MIA.

During the “Double 11” period, MIA partnered with Tongcheng Travel to deliver an online live-streamed promotion. Under the theme “30 Years of Soaring, Embarking on a Shared Journey”, the livestream introduced flight routes of MIA, land transportation connections and exclusive offers from participating airlines, attracting over 700,000 viewers.

 

The livestream created valuable pre-event buzz for the Shenzhen roadshow, drawing significant market attention. Together, the two campaigns formed a coordinated effort that combined online promotion with onsite engagement, creating a strong overall promotional effect.

 

This event was coordinated and arranged by Marketing Department of CAM, in which the event was successfully held with the participation and gift sponsorship of the following airlines and organization (the rankings are in no particular order): Air Macau, EVA Air, STARLUX Airlines, Tigerair Taiwan, VietJet Air, Vietnam Airlines, Air Busan, JEJU Air and Tongcheng Travel.
