Looking into the second quarter of 2018, as the new airlines joining the market, MIA will continue to develop a diversified aviation market, and it is expected to further drive the growth of passenger traffic of MIA and maintain the trend of growth.  In addition to the direct charter flight service between China and Russia resumed in May this year, MIA will cooperate with airline companies to develop other potential medium and long-haul charter routes in tandem with the Macau SAR government to develop Macau as a “World tourism and leisure center”. As the average daily passenger traffic has reached 22,000 passengers, MIA will accelerate the pace of improvement of airport facilities in the future.  In line with the changes in the aviation market environment and seize the golden opportunities resulting from the commencement of operations of the Hong Kong-Zhuhai-Macau Bridge, MIA will actively increase related facilities to provide passengers with comfortable and convenient travel mode.
