Macau International Airport successfully hosts the first route promotion event - Seamless Transit, guided by Intelligence

To further promote the route network and new services, Macau International Airport Company Limited (CAM) will host a series of route promotion events across the Greater Bay Area this year, kicking off the Macau stop as the first roadshow on 25th April 2026 at Nova Mall in Macau. 

The routes promotion event focused on showcasing the expansion of Macau International Airport’s route network and the latest service enhancements. Key highlights included the introduction of convenient services such as “One ID” and “Check’ N Fly”. Serving as a platform for exchange and cooperation within the aviation industry. Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department of CAM, provided an overview of current routes and services, stated that the airport will continue to expand its network and deepen intermodal transport cooperation within the Greater Bay Area to enhance regional competitiveness. The event was held in a hybrid online-offline format. It attracted over 20 airlines and local travel agencies, with the livestream surpassing over 790,000 views, drawing an enthusiastic response.

In attendance at the event were Ms. Maria Helena de Senna Fernandes, Director of Macau Government Tourism Office, Ms. Cristina Silva, International Relations Director of Civil Aviation Authority of Macao SAR, Mr. Chan Weng Hong, Chairman of the Executive Committee of CAM and Mr. Eric Fong, Director of Marketing Department of CAM presided over the opening ceremony. The event kicked off with a theatrical performance, followed by magic shows, interactive games, and airline-themed videos. These segments vividly demonstrated the airport’s strategic route layout and service advantages, creating a vibrant atmosphere. 

The event featured the distribution of over 1,000 Macau International Airport limited-edition souvenirs, airline-themed gifts and 60 sets of round-trip air tickets departing from Macau were given away, covering destinations includes the Mainland of China, China Taiwan, Southeast Asia and Northeast Asia, with transit options to the United Kingdom, Canada and the United States. Through this event, the public gained a deeper understanding of the airport’s convenient travel solutions, effectively boosting traveller confidence and enhancing the overall travel experience at Macau International Airport.
