Landmark commercial opportunity at Queen Alia International Airport

  • 2026-09-03

Airport International Group, the operator of Queen Alia International Airport in Amman, Jordan, is inviting expressions of interest from leading regional and international operators to become long-term commercial partners at Jordan's main gateway to the world through 2039.

Backed by Airport International Group's ambitious airport enhancement plan (mainly terminal expansion and reconfiguration of commercial areas), Queen Alia International Airport is set to increase its passenger capacity by 50%, significantly expanding its commercial footprint while creating immersive customer journeys and celebrating Jordan's unique sense of place.

This opportunity is further supported by the airport's strong traffic performance, with 2025 representing the highest passenger traffic year in Queen Alia International Airport's history, demonstrating the continued growth and resilience of the Jordanian aviation market.

Airport International Group is seeking world-class master concessionaires with proven expertise in one or more of the following categories:

  • Food & Beverage
  • Duty Free
  • Convenience

Interested parties may express interest:

  • in an individual concession category or,

  • in a fully-integrated master concession model.

Commenting on the opportunity, Airport International Group Chief Executive Officer Nicolas Deviller said:

"As Queen Alia International Airport continues its next phase of growth, we are creating an exceptional opportunity for industry-leading partners to help shape the future of airport retail and food & beverage in Jordan. Through our enhancement plan, we are investing in expanding our commercial offering and elevating the passenger experience to meet the evolving expectations of our passengers. We look forward to partnering with innovative and experienced concessionaires who share our commitment to operational excellence, exceptional customer experience and long-term value creation."

With a formal RFP to be launched in the coming months, interested parties wishing to express their interest are invited to contact CRR.tenders@aig.aero by 22 September 2026.
