KIX / ITAMI / KOBE Traffic Report for May 2023

International passenger traffic recovered to 57% vs. 2019, due to continued strong growth in the number of foreign passengers and the recovery in the number of Japanese passengers*. 

*Previous month: 28% vs. 2019. Current month: 36% vs. 2019, 144% vs. previous month. 

Domestic passenger traffic for the three airports combined remains steady at 94% vs. 2019. International cargo traffic was lower than the previous year in both movements and international cargo volume.
