ITAMI Runway Walk at Osaka Itami Airport - Walk the runway and snap a photo before the planes return
- 2025-05-23
Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that we will host the “ITAMI Runway Walk” at Osaka Itami Airport on Saturday, July 12, 2025.
Through this event, we aim to help local elementary and junior high school students deepen their understanding of airport operations and safety measures, while also sparking their interest in airport-related careers and fostering a sense of connection with Osaka Itami Airport.
Participants will have the rare opportunity to walk on the runway—normally off-limits to the public—and take commemorative photos right there.
In addition, the event will offer unique experiences exclusive to the ITAMI Runway Walk, such as watching a chemical fire truck discharge water at the airport’s fire station.
Kansai Airports Group remains committed to delivering the excitement of air travel and the airport experience to more people through engaging and enjoyable initiatives like this one.
