Inauguration of Dhovemi Arrival Shop Expansion at Velana International Airport

Dhovemi Arrival Shop reopens after expansion at Velana International Airport (VIA). Minister of Economic Development Mr. Mohamed Saeed inaugurated Dhovemi Arrival Shop in a special ceremony. The duty paid Dhovemi Arrival Shop located just next to the arrival terminal exit gate offers more categories than before such as writing instruments, eye wear, souvenirs, travel accessories, trolley bags, confectioneries , perfume & cosmetics and many more.

At the ceremony, the acting head of Duty Free Services Mr. Rahmathallah Ashraf said that with this new expansion, they are able to accommodate more categories and exclusive brands such as Mont Blanc and swatches. He also said that the number 2 market for their products are Maldivians and he hopes that the shop would benefit more for the Maldivians along with the passengers. Mr. Rahmathallah Ashraf thanked the President of the Republic of Maldives Abdulla Yameen Abdul Gayoom for his visionary leadership. Dhovemi shop offers return tickets to Dubai, Manila and Bangkok for 2 people as per the ongoing promotions until December 2018.
