Christmas Event at KIX! - Travel joy, going round this Christmas

Kansai Airports is delighted to announce a Christmas event at Kansai International Airport (KIX) starting 10 December 2025. A Christmas tree themed with a merry-go-round on the first floor of Terminal 1 will stand on a runway-design carpet. The tree will be adorned with airplane ornaments flying around the world, welcoming passengers from around the globe with special airport decorations.

From 16 December, a large advent calendar will be set up for everyone to enjoy the countdown to Christmas. Illustrations hidden beneath stickers will come out one by one during the event period and the calendar will be completed on Christmas Day, 25 December.

Furthermore, on 24 and 25 December, airline staff, musicians, and local kindergarten children will deliver Christmas performances. “Sorayan,” official mascot character of Kansai Airports, will also join to give out Christmas novelties. We hope everyone will experience excitement special to KIX. Kansai Airports Group will continue to develop events to share seasonal joys to customers and local communities to deliver the appeal of airports and travel for everyone to enjoy.
