
Bahrain International Airport honors UAE National Day with cultural festivities

Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operator and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), welcomed passengers with a series of cultural activities in celebration of the United Arab Emirates (UAE) National Day. The celebration marked the strong ties and shared values between the two nations, showcasing commitment to regional unity and cooperation.
Passengers traveling through the airport enjoyed traditional musical performances, Arabic hospitality, and special giveaways. The event created a warm atmosphere for passengers while honoring the history and connections that link the two countries.
The Kingdom’s national carrier, Gulf Air, operates 14 weekly flights to Abu Dhabi and 35 to Dubai. Additional connections to Abu Dhabi are offered by Air Arabia to Abu Dhabi with 14 weekly flights, and Etihad Airways with 21 weekly flights. Services to Dubai are provided by Emirates Airlines with 22 weekly flights and flydubai with 31 weekly flights. Air Arabia also operates 28 weekly flights to Sharjah.
The variety of carriers operating out of BIA ensures passengers have convenient access to all three major cities in the UAE throughout the year.
