  • 26 Aug 2019

Airports of Thailand Public Company Limited (AOT) grandly unveils “AOT DIGITAL AIRPORTS: Living Airports” for its six airports. Suvarnabhumi airport takes the lead in connecting to 16 Sister Airports around the world. AOT is transforming itself into a full-scale digital organization to enhance its business competitiveness.

AOT President, Nitinai Sirismatthakarn, says AOT DIGITAL AIRPORTS: Living Airports is the innovation that links all information technology systems of airports for the conveniences of airport service users. The linkage is about to reach the tourism industry outside airports, including transports and domestic tour services. This year marks a milestone of AOT as it has Digital Airports, Digital Offices, Digital Operation, Digital Cargo and Digital Platform and will become a full-scale digital organization in the future.

From now on, Digital Platform will play important roles in AOT’s operations. It is the complete transformation of AOT and its business administration. The digital connection will cover not only AOT but also all leading relevant organizations both in and outside the country. Communication with systems at airports will happen in virtual reality. Initially, the communications will occur via the smartphone application software.
