Management of Fuel and Hydraulic Spillage
Aviation fuel and hydraulic oil, being slippery and inflammable, if spilt on the airfield e.g. on the apron or taxiway, and not promptly cleaned up, can result in serious and even catastrophic accidents. This document is to provide guidelines to airport operators on how to remove spilt fuel and hydraulic oil in an expedient, safe and environmentally friendly manner.
