Julian Chau

Manager, Security & Facilitation

Julian Chau is the Manager for Security and Facilitation at ACI Asia-Pacific & Middle East, with a primary focus on advocating for policies that help airports in the region to enhance security standards and operational efficiency.
 
With over 7 years of aviation security (AVSEC) experience within statutory organisations under the HKSAR Government, including the Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK), Julian's expertise spans from security operations to the planning and implementation of security projects for the Hong Kong International Airport.
 
Julian is certified by ICAO as an Aviation Security Professional Manager (AVSEC PM), AVSEC National Inspector, and AVSEC National Instructor.
 
Julian holds an Advanced Master in Air Transport Management from the École Nationale de l'Aviation Civile in France and a First-Class Honours degree from the Hong Kong University of Science and Technology.
