Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a formal framework for collaboration between the region’s airport and air traffic management (ATM) communities.
The Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAB or BLR Airport) recorded an impressive passenger numbers recovery of 82% since CY 2019 (pre-Covid year), with a total of 27.50M passengers travelling through BLR Airport in CY 2022. Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) has welcomed from Zurich on Thursday 2 February, 2023, the first flight of Edelweiss Air; the leading leisure airline of Switzerland and a member of Lufthansa Group. Edelweiss Air will operate two weekly flights on Sundays and Thursdays to Amman then Aqaba, with return flights to Zurich scheduled the next day on Mondays and Fridays.
