Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID), the leading trade association representing over 600 airports across 45 countries and territories, has contributed US$50,000 to Airlink, a disaster logistics non-profit organisation, to support humanitarian relief efforts in Myanmar following the recent devastating earthquake.
Kansai Airports announces today a forecast of international passenger traffic, Japanese and nonJapanese combined, at Kansai International Airport (KIX) during the coming New Year holidays (13days from Friday, December 22, 2023, to Wednesday, January 3, 2024).
According to Airport International Group statistics, Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 563,547 passengers (PAX) during November, recording a 9.08% decline against 2022 figures. QAIA also registered 5,397 aircraft movements (ACM) and handled 5,979 tons of cargo, up 2.4% and 17.9%, respectively, compared to the same period last year.

Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) today released air traffic figures for Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) for October 2023. During the month, HKIA handled 3.8 million passengers, representing a four-fold year-on-year increase, while flight movements approximately doubled to 26,265 compared to October 2022.

Hamad International Airport (DOH) maintains its performance through Q3 of 2023, reporting a substantial 26.84% increase in passenger traffic compared to the same period last year. This achievement builds upon a display of consistent growth, with a 44.5% increase in Q1 and a 24% increase in Q2.
