Airports Council International Asia-Pacific & Middle East (ACI APAC & MID) and the Civil Air Navigation Services Organisation (CANSO) signed a Memorandum of Cooperation, establishing a formal framework for collaboration between the region’s airport and air traffic management (ATM) communities.

The Director General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) has renewed the aerodrome license of Mangaluru International Airport. The validity of the current aerodrome license issued on March 16, 2022, ended on September 15, 2023. The airport received the renewed license on September 12.
Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (also BLR Airport) commenced its international operations at Terminal 2 (T2) on the September 12, 2023, at 10:15 AM, with the arrival of Saudi Airlines' flight SV866 from Jeddah. IndiGo was the first Indian carrier to start international operations from T2 with its flight 6E1167 to Colombo.
