OUR MISSION
It is our mission to advocate for policies and provide services that strengthen our members’ ability to serve their passengers, employees and stakeholders. We aim to advance the collective interests of airports in Asia-Pacific & Middle East and promote professional excellence in airport management and operations.
OBJECTIVES
Lead
Maximize the strategic position of airports within the aviation industry to operate, develop and maintain a safe, secure, health-focused, environmentally-sound and efficient airport business and air transport system
Advocate
Influence international, regional and national legislation, rules, policies, standards and practices based on established policies aligned with airport priorities
Communicate
Enhance public awareness of the economic and social importance and value of airports through advocacy and (digital) communcations
Cooperate
Cooperate with regional offices of UN-agencies including ICAO, international aviation organizations including IATA and CANSO, regional and national associations as well as airport-related companies and suppliers
Train
Provide members with industry knowledge, advice and assistance, and foster professional excellence in airport management and operations through training
Partner
Convene subject matter experts from across the region to tackle current challenges, emerging issues and to anticipate new ones
