Bahrain Airport Company (BAC) and its partners marked the successful conclusion of Bahrain International Airport’s (BIA) 17th full-scale emergency exercise, demonstrating their ability to handle diverse crisis scenarios and the efficacy of the Aerodrome Emergency Plan. The bi-annual exercise plays a major role in improving overall airport safety by assessing the capabilities, readiness, and effectiveness of BIA’s emergency response and rescue services.
Sharjah Airport Authority hosted its annual ceremony at Al Jawaher Reception and Convention to commemorate its achievements in 2022 and to honour the employees that contributed to this success. Kansai Airports is pleased to announce that Greater Bay Airlines (HB) will launch a new KIXHong Kong route on Friday, April 28, 2023. Greater Bay Airlines is based in Hong Kong and operates four routes to Thailand, Taiwan, South Korea, and Narita Airport in Japan, and plans 104 future routes connecting the Greater Bay Area, which includes Hong Kong, Macau, and Guangdong Province, with China and the rest of Asia. The airline also offers service and convenience as a Value Airline, which sets itself apart from LCCs while maintaining excellent cost performance.
In line with the commitment and efforts of Bahrain Airport Company (BAC), the operating and managing body of Bahrain International Airport (BIA), to maintain the highest level of safety standards towards the emergency response at BIA, a full-scale emergency exercise will be conducted on Monday, 20 March from 7pm to 12am at BIA.
Mangaluru International Airport (MIA) in a single-minded focus of achieving its goal of environmental sustainability, has added two more electric vehicles (EVs) to its vehicle pool for the current fiscal. The airport in August 2022 had initiated its journey towards sustainability by procuring two EVs for its routine operations and has added four more EVs since.

Auckland Airport is underway with its biggest redevelopment since the airport opened in 1966 with a brand-new domestic terminal to be fully integrated into the international terminal. “This is a major investment for Auckland Airport, one which we have been working towards for many years,” said Patrick Strange, Auckland Airport’s Chair.
