A total of 31 airports – 27 airports from Asia-Pacific and 4 from the Middle East- have been recognised with Airports Council International’s (ACI) Airport Service Quality (ASQ) Awards, which are based on most reliable global measurement and benchmarking programme for airport customer experience
Airport International Group announced that Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) welcomed 597,134 passengers (PAX) in March, reflecting a 19.2% decrease compared to 2023 figures. During the same month, QAIA recorded 5,476 aircraft movements (ACM) and handled 6,361 tons of cargo, marking an 11.4% decline and a 13.5% increase, respectively, from the same period the previous year.

During FY 2023-2024, Kempegowda International Airport Bengaluru (KIAB / BLR Airport) witnessed the highest-ever annual passenger traffic and cargo numbers, with a total of 37.53 million passengers traversing through its terminals and 439,524 metric tonnes (MT) of cargo passing through the BLR Airport. The airport handled 4.3 million tonnes of cargo during the year. It is the 13th time since 2010 that HKIA is named the busiest cargo airport in the world.
Airport Authority Hong Kong (AAHK) announced today the launch of a renewable diesel pilot project at Hong Kong International Airport (HKIA) as part of its unwavering commitment to developing HKIA into the world’s greenest airport. HKIA is the first airport in Asia to use renewable diesel, which can reduce greenhouse gas emission by 87% compared to petroleum diesel, on ground services equipment.
