The Asia-Pacific Region has 97 members operating over 520 airports in 44 countries. According to the ACI World Airport Traffic Report 2012, the airports in the Asia-Pacific and Middle East regions handled 1.49 billion passengers and 34.9 million tonnes of cargo.
